HOPSCOTCH is licensed by the Greek Ministry of Education and in full compliance with all relevant statutes, health and safety regulations. All teaching staff at HOPSCOTCH are fully qualified teachers, having taught in the United Kingdom and Greece.
The health and safety of the children are of utmost importance, so all teachers are also trained in first aid and regularly attend refresher courses. Along with the regular visits made by the ministry, the school also receives monthly visits by the state appointed pediatrician and annual check ups by the school dentist. Both the doctor and the dentist submit reports to the parents. The main building of the school is set in a garden of approximately 1000 square metres with four main teaching areas, a 100 square metre activity area, full kitchen, dining area and separate bathroom areas.
HOPSCOTCH is a dedicated English speaking Nursery, Preschool and Kindergarten for children aged one through to six.

Since opening its doors in 1996 it has seen a steady growth not only in the enrolment of pre-school children from the international communities of the surrounding areas of Glyfada, Voula, Vouliagmeni, Vari and Varkiza, but in its reputation as a leading provider of quality education.
The School follows the guidelines laid out by the British Department of Education for the teaching of pre-school and reception and acts as a feeder school for the first grades of several of the international schools in Athens.
The school is also licenced for the greek Nipio, so children who plan to attend Greek first grade are prepared with an equal amount of dedication, so ensuring that all children are offered a firm foundation for the entrance to both international and Greek school systems.
